Prices are based on weight or volume, whichever is higher
The maximum price with Samskip is fixed at 24.900 ISK, if the order is under 500 kg. Please note that this applies to each order.
The delivery fee with Samskip is paid at the same time as you pay for the IKEA products. If the delivery cost is lower than 24.900 ISK or the order is heavier then 500 kg, payment is according to Samskip‘s price list (see (www.samskip.is)
Products are delivered to the transport company’s warehouse. Please note, if home delivery is requested, the transport company will charge a fee according to their price list. We strive to deliver the products as soon as possible.
Please note: If an order is placed online, same day delivery is not possible, and it‘s not possible to order products online and pick-up at the store.
Trailer Rental
If the products don‘t fit the car, you can borrow an IKEA trailer for free for 2 hours. 2,000 kr per hour applies to each extra hour. Flat rate for delivery under 900 kg is 9.500 ISK. If the delivery weighs 900 kg or more, we charge according to our tariff.
The home delivery includes getting the product from IKEA to the customer‘s home where the driver gets the products out via car lift. To ensure maximum efficiency, the recipient needs to be available and at home for delivery. If the recipient is not at home, the products will be sent back to IKEA. Please note that the driver only takes care of getting the products to the house. Any damage or loss of the products after delivery is at the recipient’s reliability. Please note that we don’t deliver assembled products.
Customers choose a time slot when they want their products delivered. Available delivery slots are:
Weekdays from 9-12, 13-16 or 16-20
Weekends from 10-13 or 13-17
It is not possible to provide a more specific time.
The products will be returned to the store if no one is at home at the time of delivery. Please note that the delivery leaves our premises earliest two hours after the products are paid for.
