What happens when a bunch of designers come together for a deep dive into the world of play and playfulness? First of all, they have a lot of fun. Secondly, they create a collection of fabulously furry chair covers, loudspeaker mice, toothy storage pouffes, and much more – made to spark more play, every day, across the home.
"More and more parents recognise the importance of play for their children’s happiness and wellbeing – and want to play more with their kids. GREJSIMOJS collection is based on those insights”, says development leader Karin Blindh Pedersen.
Mission: Make people smile
Despite being firmly grounded in the science of play, the design process was as playful as the products themselves. Each designer was asked to start in the everyday activity where they get lost in the moment and simply have fun – and to create items that make people smile.
“To me, playfulness is a way of looking at life that boosts creativity and makes me believe that everything is possible. I won’t ever allow my inner child to grow up”, says Marta Krupinska, one of the designers behind the collection.
