When choosing a hob, consider the following:

1. How often do you use your hob? We have everything from mobile onezone hobs to high-end gas and induction hobs.
2. How much food do you cook at the same time? You can choose to have a small hob with 1 or 2 zones to extra wide hobs for large pots and pans.
3. What type of chef are you? If you’re the one who wants total control choose an induction or gas hob. You can also choose hobs with flexible zones, which adapts to the shape of the pot or pan.

Not all zones can be used simultaneously at high power The cooking zones are paired into 2 groups (left or right), each which is connected to a phase with a maximum power supply. If you are using more than one zone connected to the same phase, a power management system kicks in to ensure they do not exceed the maximum power supply. This means that the power of the previously activated cooking zone will be reduced. If you want maximum power in two pans, they need to be in opposite groups.

Whats’s that noise? When your induction hob makes noises, it is perfectly normal. You may hear a low humming sound, whistling or ticking. It is all part of the induction technology and simply means your hob is doing its job.
